ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Writing has been a way of life for me since my early teens. It started out to be a release of the stresses that made their way into my life. I felt a need to find some sense through all the despair. That was over 20 years ago and I still use writing as a release. Since my meager beginning so long ago, I have done some writing for my college newspaper and also had a few of my writings put to music by my talented brother. Mostly writing has been a personal experience for me. The best way I can describe it is something has found its way into me and won't leave until it is down on paper. Writing is my way of life.

"Tamara: I love your work. I can relate to the content for sure - I wish my boys were that young again(teen and pre-teen). But I like the simplicity of your verse. The secret is choosing just the right words so that you don't need very many to convey the thought, the emotion, you want to convey. I also like your use of humour. Very good." -- Julia Tripp, Ontario.
