ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I am a CPA currently in the twilight of my career, practicing in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. I am also a musician who has played professionally for a number of years (piano and accordion). I enjoy writing short stories and poetry and have done so for several years. I enjoy writing stories with surprise endings and am also interested in writing stories within the supernatural or macabre genre. I have always written stories that I would most like to read myself. I am not interested in writing about social ideology or political correctness. I prefer fiction because it is entertaining. I feel a well written, entertaining story need not be accompanied by a social message or vice versa.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I'm a fantasy/sci-fi freak and acolyte of Joseph Campbell. My greatest aspiration is to be able to walk into a vintage toy store at the age of 70 and see something I created worth a butt-load of money because it was a limited edition and is still in the box and in mint condition. Shallow, yes, but that's what I want. [August 1999]
