ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am a 17 yr. old senior in High School who currently plans on being an English
Professor, songwriter / author and teaching English with ELIC in China. I enjoy critical
thought and thoroughly love talking about philosophy and abstract relations to life. In
addition, I am also actively involved with playing the piano at various events,
cheerleading, Secretary of Senior Class, Yearbook, Writing Club and the youth of my
generation. For me, writing is to dive into truth's ocean even though it may be cold.
Bringing forth meaningful inspiration and opening others eyes to what truly matters in
life is my aim in applying for this journey! [August 1999]
