The Girl No One Knew (5)

“Why are you throwing your words at me like I have the solution?” Misty asked calmly leaning back on her arms as Draco gapped at her. Just as he was about to speak, she broke in and spoke again. “I mean, its not like I can provide the answer for every thing. Even if I do know what to do with this.”
“Then stop playing around and tell me.” Draco gave in, sighing.
“Alright then. In three weeks time, Wednesday to be exact, is the next full moon. I have Ron, Hermione, and Harry chase me into the woods, at night, and lead them to a large oak that has a hole in its trunk, I push them in their and tell them to stay still and quite. Then Voldemort shows up, I put on my famous acting rolls, and he captures Ron, Harry, and Hermione. But as his back is turned, you will start picking off his death eaters, and once they are gone, just at the precise moment as he raises his wand, I attack in my demon form.” Misty told him in a hushed voice, her eyes flickering slyly.
“But, then he’ll kill me!” Draco whined.
“Oh stop being a baby, he won’t know its you if you keep that big blubbering mouth of yours shut. And im not done. When he figures it was a trick on his own planes, then I poke at him to tell me my name, and then I am free!” Misty smiled a bit freakishly.
“Um, Misty you’re starting to freak me out.” Draco said seriously.
“Look I haven’t had dinner yet so it’s only natural.” Misty laughed.
“Yeah to you, but not to me.” Draco said walking to the door.
“What ever, just make sure you meet me in the Quidetch Pitch by 11:10 that night. I’ll take care of the rest.” Misty told him as he exited the room.

Chapter Five
The Final Show Down

Three weeks passed by uneventfully for every one in Hogwarts. It was Wednesday and Misty was stuffing her self with food, as much food as she could all morning and afternoon. But at dinner, she just barely ate anything.
“Misty, we don’t want you eating everything in sight! So eat your ribs!” Hermione scolded.
“A Full Stomach makes a slow mongoose.” Misty replied, and pushed the plate away. “Besides, I found a whole lot of berries in the forest last time.” She lied, sipping her pumpkin juice. “And any way, I have to meet someone else in the pitch before.” She whispered to them, putting her pumpkin juice down.
“Is it Malfoy again?” Ron asked.
“No, Draco has other work to attend to. Its someone else.” Misty whispered again.
“Do you want us to come?” Harry asked around his pudding.
“No, absolutely not, we almost got caught last time under your cloak Harry!” Hermione scolded again.
“Oh chill herm, it’ll be alright. Besides, Harry will have the Map with him this time.” Ron told her.
“Yeah, and it won’t be long.” Misty added.
Hermione sighed. “Oh fine, but this is the last time, and I mean last that we will go prancing around school again. I mean, I am prefect. If I got found out, it would be an abomination!” Hermione sighed putting her head in her hands.
“Great it’s settled. He said he would be there at 11:40, so come at 11:30, alright?” Misty said standing up as candles where being lit in the great hall. “Oops, got to run, I have a reputation to maintain here.” She said winking before jumping up and running out of the hall. What they didn’t see was that she was winking at Malfoy, giving him the O.K.
“What is she hiding?” Harry whispered to them.
“I don’t know, but we’ll find out.” Hermione answered and drank deeply from her goblet.
Out side, Misty was already on the edge of the forest. She planned to go back to the clearing she had seen the babe Unicorn at and transform there. She ran through the trees swiftly as the sun sank lower and lower in the sky. Just as the sun was disappearing behind the horizon, and stars started appearing in the sky, Misty tripped over a root and fell into the clearing and started screaming bloody murder. Her fingers itched like wild, and her head was pounding in her ears. And then the transformation began again. She jumped wildly around the clearing, and she even banged her head on the rock a few times before stopping. Breathing heavily, she stared down at her ripped shirt.
“Damn, that was new too.” She cursed in her silky voice, picking it up and throwing it on a pile by her pants and shoes. Jumping up the tree that still adorned wild scratch marks, she climbed to the very top and looked up at the sky. “Two hours.” She muttered to herself.
“Two Hours till what may I ask?” came a small voice under the tree.
Misty jumped and was on the floor in less then a minute.
“Hello there.” Misty smiled at the young unicorn that was turning a slow silvery color, and relaxed.
“Hey, I remember you, your that one beast that helped me find my parents!” he said surprised. “Hehe, nice to see you again! I could use a friend.” He said prancing over to her and nuzzling his snout on her stomach.
“Nice to see you too, and I could also use a friend.” Misty smiled putting a soft hand on his head where a small horn was starting to grow. “Well will you look at that, a horn!” she said in a surprised voice.
“Yeah, mama said we all get horns at this age. Anyway, its lonely in the forest, no beast will ever talk to me, not even the plants. They all cower back when I walk by. It feels as though I am bullying them around. But I just want a friend.” He said in a sad voice.
“Awe, come now, it cant be that bad? You still have your mama and papa don’t you?” Misty tried, smiling slightly.
“Yeah, and I love them both, but, well, it gets kind of boring. I want to meet new Beasts and talk to strange voices.” He said looking up at the stars, and then he giggled. “Sorta like yours.” He said looking at her. And then Misty frowned.
“There will be a lot of strange voices in this forest tonight, so stay with your mother and father OK? I can not tell you much, but I can say that an evil man is coming. And you do not want to be anywhere near all right? I don’t want to sound like a poor sport or anything, but I don’t want you hurt.” Misty said carefully picking her words, and putting two hands on his cheekbones.
“Oh, alright, I’ll stay with my mama and papa tonight, but when you come back, tell me every thing that happens OK?” he said wistfully.
“Sure.” Misty smiled. “Now, are you lost again? Or do I need to help you find your parents?”
“No, not lost.” He shook his head, his silvery golden short hair flying in all directions.
“Alright then, get along now! Almost time. Just one hour left.” She said and he galloped into the forest. She smiled at him and started making her way to the edge of the forest herself. Once there, she looked out across the chilly grounds and saw just on time Draco exit the Main Doors of Hogwarts. She smiled and ran to him.
“Hey Draco.” she said in his ear making him jump.
“Oh, Misty, hi.” He said as they continued to the Pitch.
“A bit early aren’t we?” she said walking backwards infront of him, and he averted her gaze. “How come Draco wont talk to me?” she asked herself aloud, and then he looked up.
“Because I never get tired of seeing you naked.” He said smiling at her.
“Oh shut up.” She said as they entered the pitch. “We need to hurry. They will be here in ten minutes.” She said, and before he could protest, she had him on her shoulder like a bag of potatoes and jumped over the pitch on the edge of the forest. “Now, go straight forward until you come to a small stream, right next to it is a huge oak, hide five trees down from that tree, and stay still.” She said and pushed him lightly to get him going.
“OK.” He said and ran into the forest blindly.
“Light your wand for only a short time!” she called after him and her ear twitched back to the castle as three people exited the main doors also. As the great oak doors closed with a light thump, Misty had jumped onto the roof of the pitch and watched and waited. After a few moments she heard whispered voices coming closer, and heard the springy autumn dewy grass crunch under unaided feet.
“Ron I told you, for the last time, please watch where you are stepping!” she heard Hermione complain loudly.
“I’m sorry, but you are kind of invisible you know, it’s not like I can see where your feet are.”
“Well, just be careful.” She snapped.
“Both of you shut your traps already.” Harry cut in.
Misty heard them stop under the pitch and smiled softly to her self before jumping down infront of them.
“Hello.” She said acknowledging them with a twinkle of her eye. The three groaned as harry pulled off the invisibility cloak and tucked it in his back pocket.
“Found us again?” he sighed.
“Yes, you three aren’t that hard to hear. Heard you coming half a mile away. Watch what grass you step on, and make sure you keep your voices tight, or in other words, zipped. No noise at all.” Misty hinted smiling. “And oh yeah the person came already.” She added.
“He did? Who was it?” asked Ron, and Hermione jabbed him in the ribs. “Ow, what did I do?” he complained glaring at her.
“I’ll tell you who it was. As if I wouldn’t.” Misty scoffed.
“Well, who was it?” asked harry a bit impatiently.
“Me.” Misty smiled wickedly and they were cowed by her vicious grin.
“You?” Hermione echoed.
“Me.” Misty repeated and in one eye blink of a second she had swooped Hermione up and grabbed all their wands that where hanging loosely from their pockets. “Now follow if you don’t want me to eat your precious friend.” Misty licked her black lips after she had spoken evilly to them, and then she was up and over the pitch roof, Hermione screaming as she jumped next to the forest edge.
“What are you doing Misty! Misty Stop! Misty-Ah!” Hermione screeched shrilly into the night air.
“Damn her.” Ron growled, and to Harry’s amazement Ron Jumped up onto the pitch roof almost as easily as Misty had, and landed infront of them.
“I heard that you know. Not a nice thing to say to a friend.” Misty said in mock hurt.
“Your no friend if you hurt a friend.” Ron growled and had crashed head long into Misty, throwing Hermione from her grasp as harry appeared gasping feet away from the scene.
Hermione stood up and screamed as Misty Jumped back and counter attacked with a light scratch on the chest, ripping his school robes and making blood appear.
Misty stared at him, her mouth watering for an instance before she turned to Hermione and grabbed her up, jumping into the trees and out of sight.
“Hurry up harry! They’re getting away!” Ron bellowed.
“I need to go get Dumbledore!” harry bellowed back.
“No time!” Ron said and grabbed Harry’s wrist and dragging him along at what he thought a painfully slow treck.
Misty mean while was just above them, letting Hermione scream only when needed. When she found the great oak with the hole in it, she jumped down infront of it and threw Hermione inside.
“You bitch!” Ron yelled letting harry go and flinging himself with all his might at her. Misty simply moved to one side and he went crashing into the hole in the tree, knocking him self out.
“Eh, it’s better that way.” Misty said over Hermiones sobbing.
“Why are you doing this?” Harry yelled at her.
“Shut up and get into the hole Harry!” Misty ordered pointing at it.
“No! First tell me why!” Harry said stubbornly. Misty cursed to herself and looked up at the night sky...time was running short, Voldemort would be there shortly.
“Look, Harry, would it help if I said that I won’t hurt you if you get into the trunk peacefully?” Misty sighed.
“What so you can eat me?” Harry yelled at her.
“I’m not going to eat you!” Misty bellowed at him, her voice shaking the leaves in the trees about them. “We don’t have time for this!” she screamed and in one instant was by his side. She picked him up and threw him in to the hole in the trunk with out some much as breathing heavily. He too banged his head and passed out.
“Misty…” Hermione cried out, but her voice was drained by a series of popping around her.
“Well, Sin, you did a good job of capturing the dream team didn’t you?” Voldemort hissed behind her.
”Master, Sin only wants her Freedom.” Sin replied on impulse, lowering her head to hide her anger, but he sensed it all to well.
“Why are you angry? You should be happy I am not going to kill you tonight Sin. Maybe,” he said pacing around her as more and more death eaters created a circle around them. “You’re mad because you did this against your will, because I forced you to, because you want your Freedom. Or Just maybe, these three children where your friends? Am I right?” He hissed at her and there was a series of chuckles throughout the ring of Death Eaters. “Now, who is not here?” he said, suddenly directing his attention to every one in the ring. “Good, Snape, you have shown up for this pleasure, of my Final killing of Potter, no Dumbledore to save him now, and no way for any godparent to get in the way, no, no, just me, my wand and his life in my hands.” Voldemort hissed and turned to look once more at Sin.
“Sin, give me their wands, and let me crush them.” He said extending his hand for them.
“Sin does not have them.” Sin replied looking at her own hands sadly. “Sin Crushed them in the Tree’s while carrying the Granger girl to the big Oak.”
“Ah, so you did my work for me? Good, good, I am not mad, no quite the opposite. I am pleased you are finally seeing it my way.” Here he turned to face outward and Misty Glanced quickly up to see Hermione white with fear and Confusion.
When Hermione looked up into Misty’s eyes, She felt the immediate impulse to cry out, but something told her to stay quite unless spoken to. And she planned on doing just that.
Meanwhile the two boys where just waking up to the scene at hand, groggy and sore headed.
“Now sin, which one do you want to kill first? Potter as you already know is my most Favored one of the three, so you’ll have to get the lesser.” Voldemort hissed, somehow stretching the word ‘favored’ to make it sound venomous.
“I will kill the Weasly. He Make good prey, fight nicely.” Misty suddenly answered and Voldemort’s gaze cowed her for a second.
“You are not yet privileged to use the word I in a sentence Sin. Say it again you puny piece of rat scum!” He bellowed at her, squeezing his fist, and suddenly a sharp pain flew up her right form arm and she screamed at first with amazement of it all and then pain, pain that she hadn’t known in two very long months.
“Sin will Kill Weasly! He makes good prey! Fight nicely!” Sin Screeched out, falling to her knees.
“Good, good. It seems we have grown soft these past two months Sin.” Voldemort hissed lightly and then his tone changed harshly. “Get it together, and now.”
Misty Scrambled to her feet and hissed at Ron who growled back, now fully awake.
“You may go first Sin, and make it a show.” Voldemort said in an amused tone, and the circle fell back to make room enough for them to wrestle.
“Come now my weak weasel! Let Sin bite your head off!” Sin hissed, suddenly very hungry. And then she shook her head and glared hard at Ron as he stepped out of the hole.
“Oh, this is not an every day Weasel. Mongoose swallows the cobra head first.” Ron growled, looking ready for a big fight.
“Nice, Nice, Sin loves a challenge and a Game in one, Sin will be Cobra, sly, slick and fast.” Sin hissed, and suddenly was in ten places at once, each one glaring more and more hungrily at him. Just as she was about to actually rip Rons’ head off, something in the bushes caught her eye and she stopped mid jump. She put a hand to her head and sank to a sitting position.
“What am I doing?” she thought stupidly, looking around. And then her eyes rested on Ron, who was the least bit scared. And then he lunged, and had her pinned down.
“Ron, I’m trying to save your arse, so don’t make this easy for me. What are you doing?” Misty hissed at him, and he looked momentarily startled.
“I’m gonna rip your guts out and hang them for Christmas decorations!” he growled.
“Well then get it right!” she hissed and kneed him in the stomach in one fast movement. He keeled over and spat up a bit of blood.
