Catastrophe,
A Collection

Catastrophe
Like the feline, friends aplenty
Life- waltzes by, so run! says she.
Into the meadows, swim in the sea,
Float on by, eternity
They gather round, she knows them all-
Joyous banter! She stands tall!
But she likes to curl up in a ball,
Melancholy
has not the gall.
For love, she feels has whisked through here-
Everyone knows it, yet she holds fear.
Like the feline, she treads the water
Thinking her every action will falter.
Hides under a veil of contentment - fake
Purring and sighing for her friends' sakes
When all alone, she sleeps the day
Dazing and dreaming her life away.
Subconscious rambling poem for the
silent
My thoughts soar up high
Dreams cloud the starry sky
The trees fill the frame so picturesque
There's a rabbit on the moon possessed
The world sees the same moon every night
Old dying stars' light, reach the earth so bright.
Yet they faded long ago, yes they faded long before the earth began.
And with our thoughts we gaze together
At the canopy of night shielding us, from the weather
Of emotion that we hold within our brains, within our souls,
The night hides us all, but the night sees all
The boundaries of the universe unknown
The sky has been watching us over the ages
Yet we never see each other but we know we are alive right now
Together but in our silos of ourselves,
Linked by an unconscious consciousness
The world laughs, weeps, cries, dances,
All of us, one planet, lonely minds,
The sky knows us all.
