Wind In The Rain
Buxton

The moonshine wind flicks off to the west,
The leaves blow wildly in a circular jest,
The candles are flickering,
Through a window that moves,
The leaves blow through,
And leave the room soothed,
She enters the room bearing only silken sheets,
She enters the room on her heavenly bare feet,

As night has fallen slow,
One to many drinks there's no where I can go,
The wind howls at the window as it does within my heart,
This tremble of desire has forgotton to say start,
The light that beckons passion,
The light that hails for romance,
Has flown ever closer to you now,
I have seen her second glance,

"Not too shabby. In the 7th line 'sheets' is plural and then in the 9th line it's singular. They should be the same. In the 13th line "to" should read "too" and the final line should end in a period, not a comma. Other than those few changes....it's good." -- R. Bennett Okerstrom.
"Bite me, with that grammar\correct spelling bullshit. Poetry is free expression, there cannot be any mistakes??" -- Buxton.
