Who Knows What Tomorrow Will Bring Briony Carvalho
Sitting in a cocoon of my own emotions
Reality had tripped an inch out of reach
I stopped and looked at the words of strangers
Kindness stretching the sparkling ocean
A shroud of death lifted from me
Metaphors became reality
Dreams skipped a hairs breadth from my finger tips
Lungs filling I cried
Tears of relief washed pain and anger away
And it left, just me. In a glittering world of possibilities
Who knows what tomorrow will bring
