When the day began
The sun shone bright
I looked to you, and in a moment
I knew everything in my life was right
The sun shone bright
The way the sun hits your face
Somehow, I've always known
This place was our place
The way the sun hits your face
It made all of my doubt disappear
In a moment, I found my place
I can now live with no fear
Somehow, I've always known
As the sun has always shone
I knew I would never be alone
I knew I had found my way home
This place was our place
The place where all dreams came true
This place was our place
The place where no lies would come through
But now, the sun is gone and set
The moon has come, the shadows are long
I've somehow forgotten, forgotten the way home
How will I find it, if I am alone
This place is no longer our place
Sadly, I have long forgotten the beauty of your face
Darkness is where my heart lies now
To love again, I don't know how
I never thought I would forget
How beautifully the sun had shone on your face
I never thought I would forget
That in this world, we never know our place
As I dream, I dream alone
I dream of some place, far, far away from home
To save myself from my fate
I try to remember the sun shining on your face
The moon shone bright
In place of the sun I once knew
The moon shone through…
Oh, how I miss you
When the day began
The sun shone bright
In a moment, I knew
Maybe it wasn't you I ever really knew…

"That was as if you invaded my dreams. I loved it word for word. Never stop writing. Once you stop for a long while it becomes hard to find inspiration later. Believe me I know. Again I loved it as I love you." -- trisha, chase city , VA, usa.
"Enjoyed it even more the second time. Keep on writing. Still waiting for the "This is Lewis" book to come out." -- Jeffrey Pillow, Phenix, VA.
