When Do I Give Up?
Hippolito Jaken

Whenoh when do I give up?
Do I when death is nigh?
When nothing helps, and I just can sit there and sigh?
When you think God isnt up there, sitting up on his throne high?
When?

When do I give up?
When threats hover above our head?
When there is no hope ahead?
When curses fly among us, unsaid?
When?

When do I give up?
When we are not free?
When you are alone and all flee?
When you are imprisoned in lock and key?
When?

When do I give up?
When nothing but sorrow we feel?
When friends run away when you are in ordeal?
When everything seems so unforgiving and unreal?
When?

Ill tell you then.

Never.
