"I liked this. It is the same on both sides though. I know that guys think the same thing about girls. Sometimes it's tough to tell the difference between someone liking you as a friend and someone liking you more than that. It's hard to just "ask" because the fear of looking dumb, for lack of a better word. Plus, it can make things uncomfortable, possibly ruin the friendship. But you have to just "ask." Don't torture yourself. If this is a true story that is. Sounds like he might be talking about you though. When guy's say, "I have this friend...." They're usually talking about themselves.
