ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born 1976 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. Spent my whole life here -- not a bad place to live in, it's never boring. Trying to be a professional writer. Generally, I like being nice to everyone, but it seems people like me best when I wear black, mock everybody and write horror. Heh.

I've also published at HorrorFind and CrystalDreamCastle.

The Journey
Ivana Milakovic

-Shall we?
-Letís go.
Walking. Being quiet. Then:
-Where are we going?
-I dunno.
-What do you mean, you donít know?
-Exactly what I said. I donít know. You know what "I dunno" means?
-Of course I know what it means. Then why are we going?
-Would you prefer to stand?
-No.
-To lay down?
-No.
-To squat? To dance?
-No. No. Iíd just like to know where are we going.
-I told you. I donít know.
-Oh.
Walking. Then:
-Donít you think itís boring, just walking like this?
-What would you like to do?
-I donít know. Letís talk.
-About what?
-I donít know. About anything.
-About anything is about nothing. So?
-Maybe we could recite poetry.
-You begin.
-Wait for me and Iíll come to you
 just wait for me...
Reciting.
-Itís your turn.
-Green, I love you, green!
 Green wind, green branch
ship at the sea and horse in the mountain.
They recite for a while. Being quiet again. Then:
-Letís hop.
-Okay.
Hopping.
-I think we should rest now. Itís been enough for today.
-I agree.
The next day.
-Shall we?
-Letís go.
Walking. Being quiet. Then:
-Why are we walking at all?
-I dunno. Do you?
-No. Do you think Iíd ask if I did know?
-Guess not. I dunno. Perhaps you would.
...
Many days later.
-Shall we?
Being quiet.
...
Few days later.
Being quiet.
