The Falling Rise
Majen Stewart

They say, I live my life on a line
My methods used are steady and fine.
But what do they know of my mind?
The words they say are none but blind.

Others say I am askew
Living life as others do.
Can they tell what happens here
When my mind is full of fear?

Always succeed, do your best.
What matters is none the rest.
Slow down, they say, what you feel,
Cannot possibly be real.

Can they understand that I
Dont want to watch the world go by.
I want to live a bigger scheme
A bigger life than one can dream.

But with their thoughts they do hinder
And turn my solemn dreams to cinder.
Can I proceed to be me
If they hold the lock and key?

I am burdened with contemplation
Within my mind of compilation.
Will I let them tie me down
Or will I rise to claim the crown?
