I'm 42 years old and live in Long Island, New York. I have 4 children and one granddaughter. I write poems, children's books and lyric's. I have one published poem in the January issue of beginnings magazine called (beginnings) it has taken me a lifetime to live to be able to write the way I do, with my heart and my soul. All my stories make you think, and touch your heart. Even though I dropped out of school at the age of 16 it doesn't stop me from writing and trying to get published. I will never give up! I will always believe that one day I will be a number one author of children's books! Always follow your dreams, but you must be ready when it comes true!

TEARS

UNTIL I SHED SO MANY OVER THE YEARS;
YET--MANY TEARS ARE FALLING FROM MY EYES;
ALL BECAUSE OF THE WAY I FEEL INSIDE!...
THEY'RE CRYSTAL CLEAR JUST LIKE RAIN--
YET--WHY DO I FEEL AS THOUGH I'M GOING INSANE?

I'M SO USED TO THEM--
I KNOW THEY'RE MY ONLY "TRUE FRIENDS",
BECAUSE THEY'RE ALWAYS AROUND;
YET--WHY DO THEY LEAVE ME DOWN?

UNTIL--AN ANGEL FLEW DOWN FROM THE SKY,
SIMPLY HELD HER PALMS BENEATH MY EYES;
SHE SAID; "LOOK DOWN WHAT DO YOU SEE?"
I REPLIED, A SAD REFLECTION OF A SWEET SYMPHONY--

YET--ALL OF A SUDDEN--
MY EYES WERE DRY--ALL BECAUSE--
"GOD SAW ME CRY!"...
