You look at me and what do you see?
Dark make-up, black clothes, silver jewellery.
You see someone who’s lost,
In need of guidance,
You see someone who’s mixed up in something dangerous.
A heathen.
A freak.
But all these things are only skin deep,
And if you look beneath the surface you’ll find the one you seek.
You look at me and what do you see?
A twisted soul, a warped mind, a gender-confused teen.
You see someone who’s sick,
In need of help.
You see someone who’s unnatural.
Demented.
Diseased.
You look at me and what do you see?
Skin and bones, yellowed skin, a walking skeleton.
You see someone who’s dying.
In need of saving.
Wretched.
Decrypted .
But all these are only skin deep,
