Ahh, spring is in the air. A time of birth and renewal and amore. Even animals feel it too. See for yourself...

Their eyes met across the crowded room. He had never seen anyone as beautiful as she before. Her hair was so soft and silky, her eyes large and brown. She was gorgeous. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. He sat next to Michael watching every move that she made. He couldn't believe it when Michael started talking to the woman who was with her. What luck!

And she had never seen anyone as handsome as he was. He was so big and strong. Any female would feel safe with him. His hair was dark brown with darker shades thrown in. And those eyes...his eyes were so beautiful. They were so deep and mysterious. She had never seen eyes so wonderful before. She was so happy when Deanna started talking to the man who was with him. What luck!

Michael got up to sit next to her. He was right next to her now. Scout looked at her and barked.

"My name's Scout," the big German Shepherd said to her.

"I'm Snowy," the pretty American Eskimo replied.

"Daddy's name is Michael. I think he likes your pretty lady."

"Her name is Deanna. She is a pretty lady. I think she likes your handsome man."

They listened as Michael and Deanna laughed with each other.

"Michael takes real good care of me," Scout told her. "I just hate when I have to come here."

"Me too," Snowy agreed. "The vet is a nice man but I don't like to get my shots. I have real sensitive skin."

"Aw, that's nothing. I hate it when he cuts my nails. I won't let Michael do it. I almost bit him once. He got mad at me but he never hits me. The man who had me before Michael hit me all the time. I didn't like him."

"I don't blame you. Deanna always had me. She adopted me from the animal shelter when I was a puppy. She takes real good care of me too. She gives me a bath all the time though. Sometimes I don't like that. She is very careful with me because my hair is white. She's always brushing me and washing me."

"You're real pretty," Scout barked at her. "I noticed you right away when you came in here."

"Thank you. I noticed you too. You're very handsome."

"Thank you."

Scout wagged his tail when Michael introduced him to Snowy's pretty lady. She pet him and told him what a handsome fella he was. Scout liked her immediately. She had long brown hair and pretty green eyes. She smelled real nice too.

Snowy wagged her tail when Deanna introduced her to Scout's handsome man. He pet her and told her what a beautiful girl she was. Snowy liked him immediately. He had short black hair and nice brown eyes. He smelled real nice too.

"I think they like each other," Scout told her.

"I think so too."

"I like you, Snowy."

"I like you too, Scout."

Michael got up. It was Scout's turn to see the doctor. He heard Michael tell Snowy's pretty lady that he would wait for her when she was done with Snowy. Maybe they could all go for a walk in the park together. Both Scout and Snowy wagged their tails in excitement when Deanna agreed.

"Be brave, Scout!" Snowy called to him when Michael began to take him into the office. "I know you will."

"Thank you, Snowy!" He called back.

Fifteen minutes later, Michael came out of the office with Scout. It was Snowy's turn now.

"You'll be fine," Scout told her as Snowy's pretty lady began to take her into the office. "I know you're brave too."

"Thank you, Scout!" She called back.

Fifteen minutes later, Deanna came out of the office with Snowy.

"We're going to the park now, honey," Deanna told her as she paid the bill.

Snowy looked at Scout. "I'm glad you waited for me."

"I like you, Snowy."

"I like you too, Scout."

"Just look at the way Michael and your pretty lady are looking at each other. I think they hit it off. I think we're going to be seeing a lot of each other."

"I hope so," Snowy told him.

"Me too," Scout agreed.

They wagged their tails as they left the vet's office together.
