Perhaps It Was Yesterday Katherine Smith
Evaded by you for centuries at a time, mendacity, malevolence , now I'm beginning to open my eyes. I deciphered the memorandum, decoded the sacrosanct terminology, and what do I get for this? Nothing. Reinvigorate the supremacy, recoil the last stone, a monumental refuge yet to be unborn, discharge the sensation, make me the spectacle gather around to witness the intolerable. Assuage I will not, defy yes I will, what am I but a mere child in this diversion of fabrication, to be subjected to ones own transgression, is the autocrat roaring in your ears? With the stench of death another being is formed, divulging his own resentment the infant shan't be the last one disowned, with the ache of immortality, with the final words etched in stone, I close my eyes and recall it all...so visibly, perhaps it was yesterday.
