Only In Dreams, A Collection Lissa N Metz-Gomez
A dream by the lake Creamy shards of moonlight On deep blue glass Crystalline structures Formed by twinkling Night sky objects
I dreamt of you in black You were always there Waiting on the shores Of your innocence For me to find you And make it our reality
And I, in my white dress Saw you sitting there Waiting to enter My consciousness To slay the dragon Who keeps me from you
In these waning hours Of slumbering illusions Coherency returns Too soon for Love's fortune Another chance tomorrow night To see you in my dreams
Tell Me Lissa Noelle Metz
Before you go away
Could you please tell my heart
Why you love no longer
The little things I do
The Coming Storm Lissa Noelle Metz
Where are the winds which blow between the trees? They've disappeared, no longer in my grasp. Stagnant, breezeless mornings, I walk alone Among the lifeless birch and sad willow. Grey skies loom menacingly overhead Threatening rain at every moment's chance. No sun today, no lunar smile tonight; Only distant mumblings of thunder's wrath, Momentary silence between each breath. The air grows colder with the passing hour, Building precious strength for the coming war To be fought in the heavens between Gods. Raining wonderous life on mortal's skins Warmed by the shining of the sun once more.

"Try not to rip your story titles off of Weezer songs unless it's supposed to be the song, ala my "Cry, Freedom"." -- Tyrant.
"No." -- Meg.
"Tyrant, I'm not sure what you mean by your comment, but it's pretty rude to accuse someone of stealing a title. I don't even know who the hell Weezer is." -- Lissa.
"My two cents on this: Tyrant suffers from that mortal flaw so prevailant among decent writers; arrogance. I am guilty of the same. In any case, I really like what I've seen from you thus far, Lissa. Keep it up, and let the critics be damned." -- A J Magy, Sfld, MI, US.
