One Night Can Change It All

A young couple in love at one moment having sex.
Laughing and smiling then screaming and fighting the next.
I hate you he said get the fuck out of my house.
Now there is no way you will become my spouse!
The girl leaves and walks down the road.
The boy realizes what he said and heads out into the cold.
From a bar to a grave this is the story of her and her man.
And how a single prayer can give love a second chance.
Think of me tonight while your with your friends.
Think of me tongight as my life is coming to an end.
Think of me tonight drowning my pain into a tiny glass.
Taking shot after shot and getting high on some grass.
Inhaling in fumes while my nose starts to bleed.
My eyes are going bloodshot and I need to get some sleep.
Why am I doing this is what they all ask.
Why am I dwelling on what happend in the past.
Now I am sitting a cemetery alone.
Engraving the letters on my own stone.
I guess im already gone, already met my fate.
Dam it I cant believe im to late.
I dont remember dying how could this be?
Oh hold on wait, it's all coming back to me.
In a bar taking shots-
Then at a friends smoking weed-
Next thing I remember is inhaling paint fumes-
And walking alone on a dark street.
Then I felt in a sharp pain enter my heart.
Felt like a knife, an arrow or dart.
I had been shot during a drive by bullet.
That went stray on my block.
What about a funeral did anyone even come?
Who? Oh only one! Can I see who the mystery man is.
There he is dark and sad.
The tears in his eyes just make him mad.
The man I loved stood at my grave.
A single rose and a letter is what he gave.
Please open it, open it what does it say?
My only love why have you left?
All those things I said, it's not what I meant.
Now your going and I sit here tonight.
I only want to hold your body tight.
Baby come back to me I need you by my side.
Baby with out you here I mise well die.
Baby I cant-I really cant-
Please god give me a second chance.
Morning comes the sun shines in bed.
A young man is crying as his girlfriend lays by his side.
Baby wake up it was only a dream...
Mami I love you dont leave me please.
I would never leave you, you are my world
Mami im sorry you know you are my one and only baby girl.
So here in the end the boy and girl are okay.
Living in heaven on the sun shines rays.
In paradise together all is right.
For now and forever he holds her tight.
Tears are forgotten and the past is no more.
The future is what they have to look for.
Children, a family, maybe a dog too.
A life is worth living as long as you have me
and as long as I have you!
