Of Course I'm Sure, I Think
Curious
nothing makes sense anymore
she shut then reopened the door
you walked right back in
just like a friend
who had only gone to the store
forget all the dark, lonely nights
the pain and the suffering long gone
happy to take whatever she gives
make a damn good country song
careful of what you say
don’t want to drive her away
so words come out forced
no natural flow
you wonder where’d the real me go
can this really be worth it
with the price of admission so high
but then you remember the times all alone
you sat there just thinking and cried
so you ponder the future once more
stay in or go back out the door
nothing is clear, your head in a fog
only know that you don’’t know for sure
