Makes No Difference
Pearl S

It makes no difference. No one knows what I'm like inside. It makes no difference to them.
It makes no difference. I see all these couples and I want it so bad, but all of that's something I'm not allowed to have. It makes no difference to me.
It makes no difference who I was, what I used to be known for. I am now defined by goals shameless and base. It makes no difference what I once achieved because my potential has drained to waste. Longing made longer by the cruelty of the 'common mold' from which I should have been cast but now just will not fit.
It makes no difference, I'm too different, and this feeling will never change.
