Is She Playing Away?
I donít want to do it. Yes I do. No , but, no I donít. Yeah, but when you think about it you do, donít you? Itís been eating away at your insides all week like some bleeding cancer. I donít though. Iím not like that though, Iím a nice bloke. Yeah, too nice, thatís why she did it.
I dunno whatís up with her lately, well I do I suppose. Itís like, when I try to think, itís like thereís a couple of people stuck in my head, arguing all over the place. Well, itís only been since last week, since I found out. Or since you think you found out. I dunno. I just donít know how to sort it out in my head. If she didnít love me then she wouldnít stay with me. She wouldnít still sleep with me. Yeah, and just think, what if that bloke had bloody AIDís or something, well now youíve got it havenít you? You dick head. Of course sheís still sleeping with you. Wouldnít want to give you the wrong idea, would she? She doesnít want you suspecting anything. Yeah, but she still seems the same, so sweet and just, oh, I dunno, just so June. I know Iíll never love anyone like I love her. I mean, that bloke was winding me up wasnít he? June just isnít like that, sheís just so lovely, I know sheíd never do anything to hurt me. Yeah, well youíre a naÔve idiot arenít you? Sheís probably been sleeping with that bloke for months and you donít even know.
I look at her still, sleeping form in the bed beside me and try to justify what I might end up doing. Mind you, I doubt if I will. Yeah too right you wonít, youíve not got the balls, have you? Nice middle class young lad like you, wouldnít harm a bloody fly. Sure youíve got it ready, put it under the bed a couple of nights ago, but you wonít do it will you? How could you? You canít bring yourself to hurt this girl. Almost four months now. Surprised you havenít bloody proposed yet. Yeah well, I doubt if I will now. No, not doubting it, Iím definitely not. Of course you wonít, still having sex with her though arenít you? Still shagging that bloke second hand through her. If there is a bloke! Like I said, that bloke thought Iíd be a good wind-up, he was probably just joking! Yeah, real funny joke, ďoi mate, I donít want to interfere with yí business like, but ainít your bird seeiní someone else like?Ē Thereís you trying to look calm and detached while probably looking like a totally distraught boyfriend. But wasnít he laughing at me? Wasnít there a slight smirk on the blokeís face? Of course there was, after all it wasnít his girlfriend that was sleeping with someone else behind his back, was it? But why tell me? He didnít even know me, just said that heíd seen June in the pub with a mate of his a few times. Or more like a mate of a mate of his. And the way he said it, as if I was in the bloody wrong! When Iíve been seeing her for three, well nearly four months now!
Oh, but look at her. Even from behind sheís just so beautiful. I stroke her shoulder, itís just so smooth, so perfect, and she still says she loves me. She still acts like she always did towards me. Maybe she was stringing you along the whole time? After all sheís had enough cash out of you, hasnít she? Going out for meals, nights out, the jewellery, the weekend away. Who paid for it all? Who was always so eager to open his bloody wallet? Me, of course. But sheís not like that, I know sheís not. But do I? Do I really know her? Underneath my idolisation of her beauty and loving the feel of those gorgeous breasts against my chest do I really love her? I do. I know I do. Itís just the sound of her voice, those little giggles at my jokes, the way she looks at me sometimesÖ.yeah, I know I do, I love her to bloody bits, and Iíd know, Iíd know I would, Iíd bloody know if there was any body else. Iíd just know, period.
I gently pull her hair across and lightly kiss Juneís neck. She stirs in her sleep. I wonder if I can slip it in her without waking her up. My penis starts hardening with the thought. I slowly rub it up and down the crack of her arse. She sighs contentedly. I donít know if sheís half-awake or still dreaming but she reaches behind her, pulling me towards her. I reach across and feel for that sweet, moist opening. She gasps. God, I love those high pitched sounds she makes when we make love. She sighs again, passionately.
I disengage for a second, roll over and reach under the bed. My hand clasps round it. I roll back and June reaches out again, eagerly awaiting my entry, pushing her bottom toward me. I pull her head back tenderly and slice her throat with the razor blade. Blood sprays everywhere, bloody hell itís like a shower coming out of her neck. She deserved it though, the bitch. I will not be made an idiot of.
Tony got off from the bed and debated with himself as to how he would get rid of his girlfriendís body.
