I left my work to look after my children,
18 years on, now my son also say that I should
Go out to work.

I now dream, of how it used to feel on pay days,
And now I wonder, where I really stand,
I stand and think of the words that are said,
And I wonder if anyone would understand
The real meaning of work,

To me personally, Housework is the
Worst work, that I ever done,
To me it is not fun – 7 days a week,
And her I stand in the year 2004 –
An unhappy unpaid slave
Because Mum’s not working,
Let her do it all. .
