last night i was at a bar, but i didnt drink none
i was laughing and singin' and was having lots of fun
but then he walked in with a woman on his arm, calling her his honey, baby, his lucky charm
so i went on home and fell asleep on my bed
woke up with a stomach ache and a throbbing head
i felt as if i were hit by a truck
i went to sleep sober but i woke up drunk
drunk on the memories and dreams of you
baby dont u know the love we shared was true
why did u leave me u ungrateful punk
i went to sleep sober but i woke up drunk
when i got out of bed i was dizzy and unstable
i barely did make it through the living room, to the kitchen table
i couldnt believe how bad my breath stunk
