El Vientre De La Mente. (Gray Noise) Martin De Leon
bullet-ridden rays of thought
slicing the sunlight
outside
making me drown in the
screeching speech of day
mumbling gray noise
like a sea of hazy sound
soaking in the stillness of
what the nature of sleep conceals
crack space split time
shatter my shadow make me
bleed eternities in one
whole,
second of self
im sick of seaping through metaphors
to mummify my mentality in syllabic
theaters, acts
of reflected re-actions
caging beauty in bars of Being
blackened by passion
flesh is illusion, my dreams
scrape the skin off the Sun
encapsulating my sleep with
light,
fencing my fear
and reminding me of the vitality
of one breath.

"I read all of your work here and could spew forth empty compliments about your imagery, but the only one I can think of is that you remind me of T.S. Eliot, my favorite poems. Also, if it were possible, I would climax and reach an orgasm from your words. Loved your poems." -- E. D. Traynum, Atlanta, GA.
