DESCRIPTION
This is not so much a straight-forward poem as it is a puzzle, or a mind game. It presents two possibilities to what REALLY happened in the bulk of the poem. After you've read the poem through, read the first word of every line going down. Then read the last word of every line going down. You should notice that the mood will change with the different twists... what do YOU think happened? [78 words]
ABOUT
THE AUTHOR
16 years old. Relatively moody, very curious and nosy. Always looking for all the answers. Do I necessarily find them? No. But roads are for journeys, not for destinations. Other titles [August 2000]
AUTHOR'S OTHER TITLES (10) A Fostered Dream (Poetry) Sometimes, giving up and hoping for the worst is easier than facing what you are afraid of. Death By Poseidon Samantha Carter
Shallow promises of dinner Under the moon on a love boat on still Water, cold night air and warm With steaming coffe. The steaming Little oyster decorate gently, Breath of salt and seaweed on a plate Left forgotten in a red Rush of intensity. And Of this meal we drink champagne with Bubbles to make merry the night. For love One thing and love for another will forever Last eternity on a briny sea; the whipping waves Scream their embracing farewell "Goodbye, Lost to me, goodbye!" So flows the tide now.
