Chorus Of Love Briony Carvalho
The silent notes of love
A chorus in my heart
The summer rushed past
We were never apart
The babbling of the river
The calling of the birds
Became the litany of our love
A new language without words
I lost myself in him
The summer ended and time to part came
A universal whisper, the words the same
A thousand words spoken by a thousand pairs
Love you, miss you, always, forever theirs
I gave myself to him
The words weren’t lies, how were we to know
Time changes you and you move with the ebb and flow
Your feelings evolve and you find someone else
The cards, presents and emotions grow dusty on the shelf
The chorus in your heart becomes a different tune
I’ll find someone who can sing along soon

"really liked the message, one advantage of some maturity you realize there's more than one true love to be found. "The words weren’t lies, how were we to know" - cool line." -- curious.
