PEOPLE DECLARING THE EVIL ON WAS REVISITING THE
EARTH...'' {WHITE CHAPEL, LONDON - 1888}
What a dance I'm leading,
ha-ha-ha!!
As the dead lie bleeding,
ha-ha-ha!!
A poet am I?
it would be too rash,
to call one so,
who wrote such trash!
Ha-ha-ha...catch me if you can!
Please don't ever think of me ill,
just because I like to kill,
I do like to help the common man,
and I'll do it again, if I can!
It's just that I do so love the sound,
of a strumpet screaming, as she falls to the
ground,
the sound of flesh ripping, as I steal the heart,
of a fallen angel, a sour tart.
Ha-ha-ha...catch me if you can!
Here's to the devil,
with his red pick and shovel!
digging bloody entrails,
by the bushel!
Here's to my daddy,
who still walks free,
and his only son,
who happens to be me!
Ha-ha-ha....catch me if you can!

{Author's note: The legend of Jack The Ripper
has seemed to fascinate people for over one
hundred years, due to the fact that his identity
was never known until now. His name was William
Seckert, a reclusive artist and actor of the late
18th century who was secretly a serial killer.
His sketches and paintings reflected his taste for
death, and can be found in graphic detail in a new
book by one of my favorite authors, Patricia Cornwell,
the book entitled, ''Portrait of a Killer, Case -
Closed.'' One thing in her book she didn't happen
to mention, though, was alot of people living inn
White Chapel in the year 1888 believed that the
ripper's killings were the work of EVIL itself,
the work of the devil or his son, the Anti-Christ.
Despite the morbid tone of alot of my work, I
have always been a man who believed in God, but the power
of evil also. If anybody was ever evil AND influenced
by it, it was Jack The Ripper.
Thus the poem. I hope you enjoyed it.
Dedication to: Patricia Cornwell; for the idea of
this poem and her expertise in forensic science.
Without her, the mystery of JTR would have remained
one forever.
But most of all, this is dedicated to:
Judith; my favorite Storymania author and forever

The painting he did, Jack the Ripper's bedroom (not a quote, but close) is one of the most disturbing pieces I ever saw. Beautiful dedication too.
