Hoping that he will see me
Hoping I'll catch his eye
And boing went my heartstrings
I see him across a crowded room
He smiles
He walks my way
And boing went my heartstrings
He takes my hand
He asks me to dance
Three minutes feels like three hours
I feel like I am walking on air
And boing went my heartstrings
He walks me home
He holds my hand
Asked if he could take me on a date
I giggle and laugh and say of course
He kisses my cheek
