you think it'll happen just like the book,
you find the perfect boy,
you steal a perfect love,
he walks towards you and you start t talk,
soon enough your hands are entwined as you walk,
and then theres your very first date,
hes really early and your a minute late,
but he greets you with flowers and a kiss on the cheek,
his whole presense is just making you weak,
youve had a great night but now you go home,
he walks with you cos he doesnt want you to be alone,
your standing at the door gazing into each others eyes,
what happens next is no suprise,
that he leans one way and you lean the other
your praying you dont get an entrance from your mother,
soon enough your lips break apart,
and you realise the two of you should never part,
two years down the line and hes cheated on you,
you cant believe that this is true,
your running away crying cos you just dont know,
and he screams at the top of his lungs 'PLEASE DONT GO',
you stop and he says i love you,
you run back and fall into his arms and say, i love you too
