I started writing songs and poems about 2 years ago, and I will admit, most of them sucked. After a while, I lost inspiration and had so much going on and just stopped writing. I have finally recently gotten back to writing, and at first, what inspired me was illness and fighting through and I started writing about it. Now I think I'm getting better at writing, and will start posting new ones soon.

I’m just a girl looking for a warm heart to hold onto.
I will stay waiting to find my perfect fit.
My real jacket is nice.
It’s cute, and pretty warm.
But it’s wearing down.
I’ve had it almost too long.
I need to find my new one soon.
A jacket that will always fit, always bring me comfort.
I see one from far away and just know it will last eternally
once I can finally try it on forever.

I’ve only attempted to try on a couple.
None came close to fitting.
All were too small.
Got my eyes on one amazing, and maybe too costly.
But I’ll give all I have just to try it on.
I just wanna feel the jacket I pray will be my perfect fit.

I’ve been tempted a few times in the past, by unsure feelings.
Emotions that rise in me while losing patience.

Finding my new jacket will make it worth

All I’ve ever desired was to find my perfect fit.
I’ve spent so much time searching.
