Black-Sheep Syndrome
Lee Branham

I call it a syndrome cause I'm giving you thoughts,
You dwell on them with your sadness and costs,
You don't know how bad it was for my eyes,
To sit from a bird's view and see you despise,
I see you now and I almost drop dead in my steps,
You remind me of a girl I fell for when we first met,
A girl with a beautiful smile, blue crystal eyes, and long hair,
Straight down your back, blondish black, and I loved the way you'd stare,
But now it's hard to findthe words to explain my feelings,
Cause when you cut me that short, that's when I stopped healing,
I was falling in love when I fell out of it for quite a while,
I called your name a million times and never saw that smile,
Now I still see you as beautiful as can be,
But how could someone so great let go of something in need,
When I met you, Hell left my side in no time,
But when you broke me, you shocked me blind,
So just some words I came up with to explain how I feel,
They were hard to find but they brought me to a yield,

(Chorus)X2
Black is the color you left so sentimental,
Sheep is used to explain my feelings so gentle,
Syndrome is the thoughts that you will dwell on,
Giving the heart-filled pain in my chest you fell on,

The love I had to give, gave you reason in doubt?
You thought I'd break your heart, what do you think I'm about?
Of course it'd happen to me rather than you by a chance,
And you put me through a depression stage before my stand,
You put me through drama, well let me put you through mine,
Cause I'm dosing you with words I found just to say,
I wasn't good enough, you had to frame me when you could,
And what you accused me of wasn't even truth that stood,
You say I fooled around with a whore while your friends watched,
Well I wish you were there the times I was caught,
Cause I wasalone, waiting for you to decide,
Whether you'd give me a chance or let me ride,
Besides...I'm not even close to that kinda guy,
I was feeling for no one but you, "you" were in my eyes,

(Chorus)X2
Black is the color you left so sentimental,
Sheep is used to explain my feelings so gentle,
Syndrome is the thoughts that you will dwell on,
Giving the heart-filled pain in my chest you fell on,

You gave me hope, you repaired my wings,
It wasn't nice to stomp on them and let me bleed,
I was into you, who was I gonna go for?
You were the biggest outline of my life so I adore,
A beautiful girl who seemed to usually seemed nice to me,
Was the same girl that pulled the life out of me,
The same girl I patiently waited for a chance to kiss,
Turned away the second I tried to taste those lips,
Since I fell for her, the pain hasn't left it's fall,
The same girl I stared in the eyes of doesn't notice me at all,
She passes me in the halls of my high school facility,
But doesn't glance at me nor show the ability,
I still see her differen't from the rest of these girls,
They're all pebbles and stones but she was a pearl,
I wish I had you in my arms but I don't,
Even if I walked over to hold you, hold me? You won't,
It's sad, I wish you were still there,
Giving me that smile and that loving stare,
It's sad, things had to end this certain way,
When you get the Black-Sheep Syndrome, tell me what you wanna say,

(Chorus)X2
Black is the color you left so sentimental,
Sheep is used to explain my feelings so gentle,
Syndrome is the thoughts that you will dwell on,
Giving the heart-filled pain in my chest you fell on,
