I wrote it in like two days, I tried to just let my mind spill out on paper for once instead of thinking of clever ways to write certain things, and trying to be poetic and deep. -The title is acredited to Mike Muncatchy.-

I hate these silly games,
and though I know how to play,
I wish we'd put them aside cause I want things my way.
Its something I've tried,
but can't understand,
why if two people feel the same they can't just pretend
to...
...Not be so stubborn,
swallow your pride and don't worry 'bout what others say.
Now theres a throbin in my head,
and I know its been said,
but I can't quite take the pain.
I'm thinking, and I'm hopeing,
and I keep on chokin 'cause I'm wondering, do you feel the same?
And you keep on laughing,
when I'm overreacting to the things that you go and do.
I think you're kinda crazy,
but its not every day that I meet the kinda lady,
who can get to me quite like you.
Isn't it amazing, how things can get so crazy,
it'll make you wanna pack up and go.
I've got the kinda feeling, where I'm in total disagreement,
of how you want things to role.
It seems to me, that I've found my self to be,
in the middle of an emotional rut.
And facing this dilema,
without a way to hold my head up,
feels almost the same, as taking down a plane,
in the middle of a Saint Valentines parade.
I bet you think you're something,
and girl you're not wrong,
'cause everytime I think of you I add a line to this song.
So I said to myself, "Self, this aint the place,
to try and stand your ground,"
maybe when a girl asks for space,
she means just how it sounds.
I'm sorry, but I'm kind of a romantic,
and things can get so frantic,
with a word, or a kiss, or a slit of the wrist,
spilling out everything thats you.
And you keep on laughing,
when I'm overreacting to the things that you go and do.
I think you're kinda crazy,
but its not every day that I meet the kinda lady,
who can get to me quite like you.
The butterflys in my chest, won't give me a rest,
playing leap frog over my heart.
And you best be impressed, when I start to undress...
...every lie that I ever told.
Girl, you don't have to worry, I'm not in a hurry,
but I still want you to know...
...that just because, you say you've never been in love,
doesn't mean that you won't someday.
And even if its not me, girl, I hope you can see,
that you deserve somebody great.
