TITLE (EDIT)
Human
DESCRIPTION
Its kind of about being able to except the past and take just one more chance, because both love and pain go hand-in-hand with being human. Its about wanting to be with someone, but having a lingering fear in the back of your mind that it will just lead to another heart break, while trying to comfort the other person whom is thinking the same thing.

Human
Matt R Kellaher

I've been driving for so long
that I fear I may soon run out of road.
But, it's not likely to stop me,
and this is something that both you and I know.

....because tears don't fall, they're pushed.
From a heart that's yet to thaw.
And I never knew anything until I knew I know nothing at all.
Though I know I was right, not a single day goes by,
that I wish I had chosen differently,
and now that I have the choice again, I might

I'm terrified of what this feeling means.
Would it be that bad to just come out and say,
(everything)
Is this what you want to here or am I making a mistake?
I'm searching for an easy exit, but somehow can't escape.

Just because you believe in love doesn't mean that it'll ever be yours.
Or maybe, its true,
that every heart break was to lead me to you.
A moment of honesty, it seems hope still mocks my heart.
but hoppeing is so hard,
when you may be,
the greatest or the worst thing to ever happen to me

There's no other way I can think I'd rather spend my time,
(right now)
But it seems I have fallen again,
just to stand and fall back down.
 Apathetic to your tears,
you say that I know nothing of strife.
How can I have never felt pain when I've been human my whole life

You weren't
what you could have been
(last night)
With your hand on mine,
you weren't talking for the first time
The no vacancy sign above your heart is off.
And I'm sorry for your loss.
The lonely days will soon be through,
because your just human too.

And I've been driving for so long
that I fear I may soon run out of road.
But, it's not likely to stop me,
and this is something that both you and I know.
Apathetic to your tears, you say that I know nothing of strife.
How can I have never felt pain when I've been human my whole life.
So give up and give in.
Why smile when you can't win.
When you can simply frown and get your point across
