She told him she loved him at least 20 times a day, he never verbally exposed his feelings, but instead showed it in
a different way
When he picked her up for a date, he always brought her nice things, teddy bears and flowers, bracelets and rings
She never asked for any of it, never once wanted a gift, all she wanted was for him to tell her he loved her from his
own lips
she didnt want it written on a card , on a stuffed animal, or in the sky, she wanted to hear him say it or else she
knew it was a lie
one day after a big fight, he wanted to know what was wrong, she then explained to him what was going on
you cant buy my love, you cant put it on your card, write a check to get it, you have to find it in your heart
what does the world revolve around, money and a car? if you truly want me, then dont open up your wallet, open
up your arms. Tell me that you love me, shout it, scream it, yell it loud, please just say it, let the words flow out of
your mouth.
He didnt say a thing, just walked away in confussion, came up beside a pond, sat down and tried to come up with a
solution
So he went out and bought her the biggest diamond ring he ever seen, brought it up to her doorstep, then got down
on one knee
she stood there waiting, and down her cheek rolled a tear, but all he did was pop the question, not saying the words
she hoped to hear
she turned and began to walk away, but then he started to speak, “wait i’m not finshed,” then he wiped the tear
from her cheek
i know i cant buy your love, i cant put it on my card, write a check to get it, i have to find it in my heart
the world does not revolve around money and a car, but my love revolves around you, you are my shining star
i love you, i love you, i love you my dear, i’m shouting it out loud for everyone to hear
now please say yes, that you’ll be my wife, because with you i want to spend the rest of my life
