The Myterious Ledear
Saranekha Saravanan

It was about 9:00pm when I was home alone and the power was out. I was bored and scared because it was a very scary moment. I went to take my phone and found out that it has no battery at all. I wanted to go upstairs and to get the candles when I heard a knock at the front door. Oh shit! I think it is the postman trying to beg for money again, what a useless brat, I which I could already kill him right now! Don’t he know that there is a black out and know is not the right time for money begging, I thought in my mind and felt like this is the wrong time to open the door or maybe, it is a good time to open the door to give him a piece of my mind. I took the flashlight and I ran to the door and saw the postman asking for money and I told him that it was a really bad time to ask money now because there is blackout in my house but then he said that he needs the money now and I gave it to him for a god sack and he ran back to his house. I turned back into my house and closed the door and I heard something upstairs and I went upstairs to check it out and I am really scared and then I saw a roll of duck on the table with a note saying ‘Please pack all your gold and valuables and money and a knife in your bag and your passport and birth certificate and everything that is covers your id and some weapons too. After that you drive to that Ikea store behind your house and go to the back door and follow what the blue note says.’
Then I packed my things and I ran to the car and I was ready to drive when the postman came running to me and asked where am I going and I told him to mind his own business. He then felt curious and wanted to ask more questions but I just drove on and leaving him behind my dust. Then I drove off to Ikea and went to the back door and found a blue note saying to kill the security guard and find a nice lamp and drive to the airport and follow what the green note says. Great, first a money beggar postman and now I have to be a murderer and go to jail. Wow! And why do I need a lamp and why must I go to the airport. I don’t even have money to travel at all. I thought and I took my kitchen knife and killed the security guard and I found and nice lamp and drove straight to the airport and I looked everywhere to find a green note. I decided to go back when a green note came flying into my hands and it says ‘Sorry, for the lateness and go to the reception over there and ask her where the flight to Australia is and follow her direction and get on the plane with your bag and show the police your lamp and sit on the seat with the pink note. I was stunned. The police will let me in just by showing them my lamp? Interesting…….. Ok! I decided to do it and I brought my bag and I went to the reception to ask where the ‘Australian flight’ is and she said to walk straight and turn left and I did and there was the police and they asked for the money I showed then my lamp and they let me in and I was surprised.
I tried to find a seat with a pink note and found the pink and it said, ‘Turn a quarter left and to the right you go and walk straight to the number 21 it is yours and no need for money.’ I was so confused. So I decided to ask somebody when I have landed and after 1 day the plane land and I quickly went to the police and he said that to walk 15 kilometres and turn right and walk straight until you see the house number 21. I did as I was told and I found an amazing house and until now I lived happily ever after.
