ALEXI’S SHUT DOWN FOR ILLEGAL FOODS
Alex’s Fine Exquisite Meals, a historic restaurant tucked away among the foreign districts of the big apple has been serving the exotic palates of customers since the early 1900’s when it was founded by Alexi Tuskavani.
Alexi, a rich entrepreneur, came from Siberia, Russia to the U.S to live in the great land of freedom, only to find that he was not free to eat what he wanted. He went to many different restaurants of New York City to find beluga caviar, but found that no one had it because it was too rare and exotic. If restaurants wouldn’t have a food as simple as this, then what else would they not have he considered. Since there was no restaurant to serve Alexi the exotic requirements that he needed, he decided to start one that would serve his every needs. But why stop there he thought. He would make a restaurant that would serve every exotic food created, ranging from sushi in Japan to seals in Alaska. But all in the middle of New York City.
He was told that he would lose a lot of money in this venture but he ignored them because he was a risky business inventor. And so he opened his restaurant for business on April 8th, 1906. He hired only one chef at first and had only one eating area of four tables and still his dining room was never filled to capacity, but he remained open. His target customer wasn’t the common man, but rather, rich foreigners as himself who are willing to pay extravagant prices to get a taste of home. But there was trouble when a cop entered AFEM and asked for a menu. The cop reviewed the menu and was startled to find cat on it. Cops who were already impartial to immigrants found this the perfect reason to shut Alexi down for good.
But after paying a hefty fine, Alexi had a new refined menu approved by the judge and was allowed to reopen. But he was not ready to lose his freedom to eat what he wanted. So he opened a new back room to his restaurant that went on to serve such foods as cats and dogs. Word got around about this “Underground” eating establishment.
Soon customers began requesting foods that he never heard of, or they thought of themselves. So Alexi started taking orders in advance and would have them ready by a set date. He would never deny an order, and when he died in 1958, his son Vadim continued serving the fine exquisites that patrons of AFEM came to expect.
But late last Saturday, when a customer of the legal section of AFEM received a plate lined with human fingers slathered in hot sauce, the cops were immediately called in. And what they found was much unexpected. They arrived to AFEM the next day with a search warrant and what they found horrified them. They found a freezer containing dogs, cats, gorillas, and human beings. There were jars containing eyeballs, fingers, ears, and every other body part. One officer called it a scene out of a Frankenstein movie.
When they searched the cooking area they found baby panda cooking in the oven while a leg of dog simmered in the deep fryer. They found a pot boiling on the stove. Officers agreed that they regret looking inside of it. Inside the pot was a baby human being boiled alive, surrounded by carrots, onions and various herbs.
After searching the kitchen, cops moved into the back serving area and arrested all five customers dining at the time. One customer was feasting on Baboon stew. The customers were foreign and rich. One customer was part of the ”gothic” community.
Vadim was not at the restaurant at the time but was later apprehended at his midtown apartment. Detectives believe that the humans served were homeless people, while the babies were “donated” by mothers who didn’t want them.
If it wasn’t for a chef sending the wrong dish to the wrong servers, AFEM would still be serving these deplorable foods. Vadim will be investigated and tried for murder next month. His employees will be charged for assist in murder.
