Best Friends No Matter What!
Ed and Sam are best friends!
Here is the story of a little fish names Ed.
He lives in a place called coraltown.
Ed doesn't have many friends, although he
does have a best friend named Sam.
They love to play together all the time.
Ed is happy in Coraltown.
Ed soon learns that he is moving away and he
feels sad and lonely. Sam is trying to cheer
Ed up and make him feel better about moving.
Sam told Ed that there will be new fish to
meet and friends to make in the new town.
Ed burst out in tears and said" I don't want
to move, I will never see you again!"
Ed was very sad.
Days passed as Ed packed his belongings and prepared
for the big move.
Ed begs his parents not to move, but they
insisted that they had to move because it would
be better for them.
Ed spent the last bit of time he had with Sam and
they played for hours. Sam gave Ed a picture to
keep. This was so that Ed wouldn't forget Sam.
They would always be best friends, no matter what.
Weeks passed and Ed was getting used to his new
home. He got to know some of the fish there and
made some new friends.
Ed still thought about Sam and missed him so.
One day while Sam was studying in his room, his
mom came and said "Ed, someone on the phone
wants to talk to you." Ed thought to himself,
"It's one of my new friends".
Ed picked up the phone and said "Hello".
It was Sam. He called to see how Ed was doing.
Ed was very excited to hear from Sam.
Sam and Ed talked for hours.
After Sam and Ed finished talking, Ed asked his mom
"Can I visit Sam?, I really miss him.
Ed's mom said "We will make a surprise trip to
his house this weekend!" Ed was so happy he started
swimming around excitedly. He couldn't wait!
The weekend finally came. Ed's mom said
"Let's go." Ed said "This is great mom, I can't
wait to see Sam."
It was a two-hour drive to Sam's house and
Ed culdn't sit still the whole way.
They arrived at Sam's house and Ed got out of the car.
He knocked on the door and Sam's mom answered.
She was surprised to see Ed.
Ed asked "Can Sam come and play"? "Sure." Sam's mom said.
Sam came to the door and was very happy to see Ed.
They played all day in the sun.
When it was time for Ed to go home Sam said
"I will miss you, but we ill visit each other all the time.
we will always be best friends no matter what."
Ed agreed and when Ed went home he wasn't sad or lonely
anymore because he still had his best friend and
he knew he would no matter what.
