"Jamie get off the Internet"!
"Okay Isabella let me rap it up".
Jamie: I have to go but Iíll call you.
Jamie: Iíll call you or get back on here when Isabella stops being such a bitch or when she goes to bed which ever one comes first.
Jenna: Ha ha ha ha I believe sheíll go to sleep before she stops being a bitch.
Jamie: Sheís coming I g2g.
"Jamie I thought I told you to get off 20 minutes ago now itís too late to call my boss back".
"Sorry doesnít cut it. Youíre grounded for a week".
"But thatís not fair".
"Well Jamie itís time you learned some responsibility".
Jamie makes a face and turns to get back on the Internet.
"No Jaime no more Internet".
"Fine Iíll just talk to dad since your not really my mother".
"Iím the closest thing you have to one".
"DADDY SHEíS HURTING ME"!
"Whatís going on up here"?
"Sheís hurting me".
"No Iím not I havenít even touched her".
"Dad does she have the authority to tell me what to do even though sheís only your girlfriend"?
"No not technically".
"Well she grounded me and told me no more Internet".
"Is this true Isabella"?
"Get out of my house. You have no right to tell my only daughter what to do".
Jamie gave Isabella a slight smirk.
Jamie then went back over to her desk and got back on the Internet.
She logged onto her name and Jenna was gone but someone had put her name on their buddy list so she did the same.
Jamie: Who is this?
GDog171: Itís a secret.
Jamie: Jenna quit fucking around.
GDog171: This isnít Jenna.
Jamie: Then who in the fuck is it?
GDog171: I can see you.
Jamie: Then what am I wearing?
GDog171: red spaghetti strap shirt and red silky bottoms and turtle house shoes.
Jamie started getting scared. But then she remembered that sheíd told Jenna that.
Jamie: Okay then how many fingers am I holding up?
Jamie: Holy Crap!
GDog171: I told you I could see you and donít get up because youíll die if you do.
Jamie was about to get up to tell her dad when he said that. She sat back down and started to type but quickly deleted it.
GDog171: Donít go quiet on me now.
Jamie: Why did you pick me?
GDog171: I dunno maybe because your dads girlfriends my mother.
Jamie: But Isabella doesnít have a kid.
GDog171: She disowned me when I was 5.
GDog171: Sheís a bitch what do expect.
Jamie: Well you can have her back if you want her.
GDog171: I can?
Jamie: yeah sheís packing her things.
"Jamie time for bed."
GDog171: Who was that yelling?
Jamie: Dad he was telling me to go to bed.
GDog171: Your not going anywhere
Jamie: But I have to.
GDog171: Do you want to die?
GDog171: Then your staying right here.
"Jamie whatís going on here"?
Jamie wrote Ďheís watching usí in the box but erased it.
"Jamie get off the Internet".
GDog171: If you get off the Internet then youíll all die.
Jamie: This is her father. What do you want?
GDog171: My mother dead.
Jamie: You can have Isabella.
Jamie: Sheís packing as we speak sheíll be yours in a matter of minutes.
GDog171: If you hear a gunshot DONíT call the police
Jamie: We wonít
GDog171: If you do Iíll kill too.
Jamie: Can we get off here now.
GDog171: No but you can stop typing for a while.
It was twenty minutes before GDog171 started typing again.
GDog171: Where is she?
Jamie: Sheís just now leaving.
GDog171: I donít see her.
Jamie: She left out the back door and she just got in her car.
GDog171: You can get off now.
Jamie and her dad shut down the Internet and unplugged the computer.
It was three weeks before Jamie got on the Internet again. When she did she had 450 emails, 300 offline messages all from Jenna, and nothing else.
She talked to Jenna for three hours. She wondered what had happened and Jamie told her but she left out the part about Isabella.
30 years after that fateful night Jamie was a mother, grandmother, and a devoted wife. One day she went out to her mailbox and she found a letter that read Jamie Read. But Read was her maiden name. She opened it and it was dated September 5, 2003. Why that was the date that the mysterious person threatened her and her father. Below the date was a letter that said.
Thanks for your help in finding my mother. I will never be able to thank you enough. By the way if anyone ever wants to know where she went sheís in her hometown. Sheís been buried in her family plot. Sheís the only one with the marker that says UNKNOWN. Thatís where she will always be. If you ever think of her then youíll know where she went. Straight to hell. Thatís where Iíll go and thatís where you and your dad will go too. Hereís some of her blood.
Arthur C. Kennedy
When Jamie read the letter a second time she fainted. When she awoke she still had the letter in her hand but now she was covered in blood. She didnít know where the blood had come from. She got up and she found a trail of papers leading to her bedroom. When she reached the room she swung the door open.
"What she saw after that was what killed her sir" said Officer Lawrence.
"That poor woman. She must have been suffering all those years. You know we never found this Isabella woman. And there is no grave marked UNKNOWN in her family plot", the sergeant said.
"If only this sicko Arthur Kennedy hadnít killed a goat and spread the blood all over the sheets and then dumped the rest on her then maybe sheíd be alive".
"Oh she was old anyways".
"Thatís really nice Arthur. Thatís real nice".
