The Friends
Lucy Midnight
A rainy day in May 4 friends are driving. Brian, the driver, notices a cute little bunny in the road so he chooses to go 100 meters off the road to dodge it. Only thing is he gets stuck in the mud.
"I thought you said the Ranger could pull through", said a sarcastic Bekah.
"Shut up and help me push", said an angry Brian. "Hey you two in the back get your scrony... fine... firm...".
Bekah gives Brian a hard look and says, "Makayla, Ericka, get out here".
"No!", they say at the same time. Noticing that they begin to giggle uncontrollably.
"Push really hard Bekah. And try not to strain your back. Because we both know you’ll need it for...".
Once again Bekah gives Brian a hard look. "I don’t think we’ll be able to get the Ranger out. So lets walk back and see if we can find a phone".
"Coming", Makayla screams from the back of the Ranger.
"Oh so you won’t... I see what you’re doing", Brian says noticeably intrigued.
"Calm yourself...stiffness", Ericka says pointing down.
Brian turns blood red in embarrassment and turns away.
"Let’s go-. Brian was there a mansion up there a few minutes ago?", a confused Bekah says.
"No. Why?", Brian says still turned away.
"Cause there is now", Ericka screams. This causes Makayla to scream. Ericka then begins screaming too. They join hands and start screaming while going in circles.
While this is going on Brian puts his hand on Bekah’s shoulder and says, "I guess we’re the only sane ones. Wanna go do something"? Brian winks and smiles.
"Brian, get off me. Makayla, Ericka come on you can do that later".
The four friends head toward the mansion. Once at the mansion Makayla begins banging on the door as if it were an assailant.
"Makayla don’t over kill the door. Just go in. Then un-... and go to the...", Brian said stopping himself.
"Brian think like a girl for once," Ericka said noticing his stiffness again.
Once inside the mansion Makayla and Ericka run off. Brian and Bekah search for an unlocked room. they find one and go into it. Once in the room Brian says, "darn no bed. Oh well". Brian pushes Bekah against the wall. He begins kissing her neck and lips. Bekah knees Brian where it counts.
Brian screamed like a little girl. He fell to the floor and noticed there was writing on the wall.
It read: ‘Collect all the people you entered the mansion with and go in to the door to your right. It’s a closet. Change your clothes and get comfy.’
"I got Ericka", Bekah said before Brian could say anything.
"Fine I got Makayla".
When Bekah found Ericka she was topless. And when Brian found Makayla she was naked. Of course Brian was intrigued. He tried to have sex with Makayla but she used 1.95 pounds of pressure and Brian screamed. Makayla ran to Bekah.
"BRIAN KEITH MILLER JR! WHAT DID YOU DO TO POOR MAKAYLA?", Bekah screamed.
Bekah goes and grabs Brian and drags him into the closet where Makayla and Ericka are waiting. Brian first picks out a Majors formal uniform. All three girls look at each other and then turn to Brian and shack their heads. Then Makayla found a cute little pink dress. She runs out of the closet and throws it on. Ericka finds a camo skirt and white button up shirt. She throws it on and runs from the closet. Bekah finds a basic cadet uniform. Bekah hands Brian one too.
"So we’re going to play army are we?", Brian says with a slight smirk.
Bekah rolls her eyes. She grabs Brian and pulls him to the main part of the mansion.
Bekah and Brian proceed up the stairs. On the wall, written in red ink, is a message. It reads: ‘You must hide and get out of the mansion before it blows up. It will blow up exactly 5 hours from the time you walked in the doors.’
"That was 5 minutes ago", Brian said looking at his watch. "So let’s go find a bedroom and get down and dirty. Don’t be shy baby. Come to your papa daddy."
Bekah sucker punches Brian. Brian falls to the floor in pain. Bekah searches for a room to hide in. Bekah hears Brian scream so she turns to see Brian running at her.
"What are you running from?", Bekah questions as Brian tackles her.
"How did we end up like this", Brian says kissing Bekah and smiling.
"Gee I wonder, maybe because you tackled me."
"Is this the only way I’m going to ever be on top of you?"
"Well let me think. Okay I’m done thinking. GET OFF OF ME!"
"Now?"
"Uh yeah", Bekah said rolling him off her. "So what were you running from?"
"A GUY MONSTER MOLESTED ME!"
"Oh really?", Bekah says trying not to laugh.
Brian tries to grab Bekah’s hand to hold because he’s scared. But Bekah pulls it away and sticks it in her pocket.
"Even better Bekah", Brian throws his hand in the pocket of Bekah’s pants and feels.
Bekah smacks Brian.
Suddenly Ericka pops out and screams, "Your it!’
This causes Makayla to come from her hiding place screaming. She’s naked and covered in a red substance. Neither Brian nor Bekah could figure out if the substance was blood or ink or if was Makayla’s blood or someone else’s.
Ericka runs after Makayla, which is running in circles, fifty feet away. Brian looks at them and thinks ‘That look like fun’.
Bekah notices Brian starting to remove his pants and says, "Brian if you make one more move you’re staying with the insane."
Brian stopped.
Bekah went over to Makayla and picked her up since all the screaming caused her to fall over. Bekah, Brian, and Makayla all went downstairs and placed Makayla in the shower. Bekah washed her hands and went to find Ericka.
When she found her, the guy monster was molesting her. "No!", Bekah screamed right when Ericka fell to the floor dead.
Bekah runs downstairs to the shower room to find it empty. There’s no wet towel, no tracks, or any sign of Brian or Makayla. She fears for the worst. Bekah suddenly remembers the front door. So she runs up the stairs to the second floor. Down the long corridor where Ericka was killed.
Only Ericka’s not there. All that is there is a message: ‘I got one victim now for the rest.’
Bekah keeps running to the main stairs. There she finds Brian in a ball scared.
"What happened to you?", Bekah asked Brian.
"Makayla’s dead. I couldn’t get any of the red off her. Her last words were I love you Brian."
"Ericka’s dead too", Bekah says with her head down. "Have you tried the front door?"
"Yes, I also found this", Brian states holding up a note.
It reads: ‘Try again. I built this house myself. Try any other doors than this one. There are 3 doors that lead to the outside. Only one of them in unlocked. When you find it you will find another note.’
"Brian, get up we’re going door hunting."
Brian stands up and follows Bekah down to where the shower room is. Bekah runs past the open shower room to the end of the hall. It has a note on the door. ‘You found it just exit and you’ll be free.’
"Brian how long have we been inside here?"
"Four hours and fifty-five minutes."
"We have five minutes to get out."
Bekah turns the doorknob and swings the door open. She grabs his hand and starts to run. Once they’re 100 feet from the house they see the Ranger. In the back seat of the Ranger is Makayla and Ericka. Once inside the Ranger Bekah turns to the back to find Doug, Jamie, and Brad instead of Makayla and Ericka. And in the drivers seat is Franklin, not Brian.
"Where’s Brian, Makayla, and Ericka?", Bekah asked opening her eyes.
"You fell asleep Bek", Franklin said kissing her softly.
"Oh."
Everyone in the car started laughing.
"Besides why would they be here anyways? They hate you remember?", Jamie said from the back.
"Darn it", Franklin said hitting the steering wheel.
"What’s the matter sweetie?", a concerned Bekah asked.
"The trucks stuck in the mud", Franklin said holding Bekah’s hand. "But not to worry there’s a house about 500 feet back that way."
