Twisted Figures Rae
There's a song in my head. I don't know if I made it up or if I heard it somewhere before. Either way, a good deal of time has passed since the tune hummed its own in my mind. And with the shivers that ran down my spine, I knew there was a good reason for that.
I walked the streets alone. Brisk winds swirled about my face, rustling my hair. Twisted figures made love before my tired eyes in the dark. They did ritualistic dances and dissolved into the night, giving way to a more distant figure.
A beckoning.
It falls into ten fragments. My sweet My love My precious My jewel Love me Touch me Can you feel me? Can you want me? Give to me Can you give to me?
The sweet question poised before me, sitting in the night to be looked over, considered. Who was I to answer?
But it already knew. What can you give to me?
Smokey fingers wrap themselves in my flowing hair while translucent palms run along my body and close around nothing. I walk through their bodies with each step. Your flesh Your love Your soul
I shook my head. None were enough. Your devotion Your loyalty Your fire
They moaned. They swam through my head and between my thighs. They tugged at my clothes, impatience near. Your faith Your life Your mind
One article after another. Your purity
They swept in as one and my legs stopped walking. My body surged and my eyes went blank. My mind knotted and my mouth went numb.
And out they swam and again I hummed. The song echoed through the dark as I walked the streets nude, having given myself to the night.
