Eduardo Lastra

I close my eyes

I opened my eyes. Another day of work I said out loud. I turned my eyes to see
the clock. It said 2:23. Dam the clock stooped again. Then I walked to the
kitchen and that clock said 7:38. Late for work again i said looking at the
rainy clouds. I thick this is the beginning of a long day.
I put on my nice smoking because I remembered that today I had the last section
of the long case I was working on. I remembered that i had to defend Sam Wail.
Also I remembered that I had to be calm in the trial because if no they would
make me be n contempt of court.
I bended down to take my shoes, but a big Crash sound stopped me. Me nice
smoking had a big hole in the back.
AAHHH! I screamed to trough me anger out.
Why me?
I changed again very fast and I broche me these and I comb my hear.
I called the elevator and in a minute it sounded ting! I rushed to get in it and
I pushed the parking button. Then I remembered that I did not eat.
I sat on the uncountable chair of the car and i turned the key. It did not want
to turn on. I did it again and again.
If it does not work this time I would take a cab. I turned the key for last time
and it turned in. I drive until the end of the parking and I stopped because a
car was coming. Then I drove to the courthouse.
Finally in the court I said. I rune to the court and a metal-to-metal sound
stopped me. Dixie had crashed the door of her car with my car. I did not pay a
lot of attention to it and I continued to run. i knew that the judge was going
to be angry because I was late.
I had worked on this case a lot and I knew that I could win it is I behave. I
always mist behave on the court. That was me bad thing as lawyer. I entered the
court and they were all waiting for me.
Your late!! The judge told me.
Three our later the verdict was about to be told. A guard said stand up. We all
stand up and a person said Sam Wail is guilty for kidnapping and raping Sara Ortiz.
"@#^%*!!" I screamed. The judge hearted me and said you are in contempt of court.
In that moment I felt like crying. Some tiers were ending in my mouth feeling
warm and salt.
It was kind of early, but IU was hungry so I decided to go to the Italian
restaurant.
I entered my car not paying any attention to the crash in the door. I turned the
key and this time it turned with no problem.
I entered the restaurant and i asked for the best food spaghetti a la
bolognaises. In some minute they brought it to me, but this time it did not
taste as good as it did other days. I finished and I went to my car. I went to
my car. I turned the car on and I was on my way home. In a street were the was
not a car, a man stopped me. He opened my door. I started to kick him, but in
that moment he took a gun out and he told me.
"This is for my brother. I heard a shot and then I closed my eyes.
