Desk Lunch Part 5
D G Williford

Part 4

She wondered what brains would look like
Now she knew…

She saw the brains; her boss’s brains and
She laughed.

Was that funny? Was that something
that you were supposed to laugh at…

She was confused… She took a bite of her
fish and more and looked over the cubicles.

Jen gave me the fish and more,
she would live… she would hold her
child another day.

Jen and I were like one… She knew the hell
I went through… She was a single Mom, like me.

After I looked at the “Man”, my boss with the
blood dripping from his mouth and ears,

I knew that I had won, I was the person in control…

I was the one on top…

Me, the little guy was finally in the driver’s seat…
and what did I want to do???

Run… Run…

I always liked Cozumel in the winter... Good for catching marlin...
Wonder what would happen if I ate a marlin and more?
