BLACK SCREEN
We hear a sound of a car crash. Wheels screech and come to a
abrupt stop.
We see a series of smash cuts.
SMASH CUT.1
The cut shows a split second view of three people (2 boys
and 1 girl) inside the car. All panicking.
SMASH CUT.2
The shot focuses on a car stranded on the road in the middle
of a thunderstorm.
SMASH CUT.3
The shot focuses on a dead body lying on the road,
apparently hit by the car.
INT.CAR
A moment passes in silence. Everybody is tensed.
JACK
Oh fucking god! We hit him. We hit
him.
CHRIS
It�s okay. Just stay calm.
JANE
Chris, just drive. Drive fast. Just
freaking drive.
CHRIS
I�m on it. I�m on it.
Chris tries to start the car. The car doesn�t start. Things
start to tense up.
JACK
If we get caught here, we�re so
dead!
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 2.
JANE
God! What do we do? What do we
fucking do ?
Chris sees an old house in the vicinity.
CHRIS
Look! A house! We can go there!
JACK
Are you crazy? What for?
CHRIS
Look we�re in a mess here. People
in that house don�t know what
happened here. Let�s put the body
in the trunk and got to that
house.We�ll ask for help and drop
the body on our way out.
JACK
You�re insane. Fucking insane.
JANE
He�s right.
They decide on the plan.
EXT.CAR
They get out from the car. They drag the body and put it in
the trunk. They speed off to the house.
Once there, Jake knocks on the door. No response.
JACK
What the hell? IS ANYBODY IN THERE?
JANE
HELLO? HELLO?
CHRIS
Nobody�s there.
JACK
What do we do? I say we get the
fucking hell out of here.
CHRIS
Let�s break in.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 3.
JANE
ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY? We already
have murder and now you want us to
go for breaking and entering too?
CHRIS
It�s our only option. We could find
something to help us. Or we could
drop the body here and leave.
JACK
Yes. The body. Here. Let�s break
in.
They break open the door and enter.
INT.HALLWAY
They walk through the house. The scene shows several
wide-angle shots that cover the entire house.
JANE
There�s nobody here. Was this even
inhabited?
JACK
Hardly our concern.
CHRIS
He�s right. Let�s get the body
here.
EXT.CAR
Chris and Jake open the car trunk. They drag the body into
the house. As they enter the house the front door close on
it�s own.
JACK
What now?
JANE
Put it in the basement.
JACK
What? Why?
JANE
Suppose the owners come minutes
after we leave. Then, they alert
the police and we spend our next
Christmas in jail!
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 4.
JACK
Okay, basement it is.
INT. BASEMENT
They drag the body into the basement.
CHRIS
Quick. Let�s leave.
INT.HALLWAY
They quickly rush to the exit only to find it locked.
JACK
What the fuck? How the hell is it
locked?
CHRIS
Calm down. It�s just jammed. It
happens in old houses.
JANE
What now?
CHRIS
All we have to do is find another
exit. Let�s search.
They search the house for another exit.
INT.UPPER ROOM
Jack enters the room. All is very still. As soon as he
enters the door behind him closes. Jack tries to open it but
to no avail. A small vase drops off the table on its own.
Jack is horrified. He struggles with the door. Behind him
the pillows of the bed fall off. The bed sheet slowly drifts
off the bed. Jack struggles more and more. The door opens
and Jack trembles out.
INT.KITCHEN
Chris is searching the kitchen. As he walks by footsteps are
heard behind him. He looks back but is unable to see anyone.
As he looks in front he comes face to face with a hideous
monster. After shaking in fear for a few moments he realizes
it was just a mask pinned on the wall. Slowly, the fridge
door opens. Crockery falls. A knife zooms out of the air and
narrowly misses Chris. Chris runs out of the kitchen

INT.DINING ROOM
Chris and Jack meet up in the dining room. Both are scared
from what they have just witnessed.
CHRIS
What the hell is wrong with this
house?
JACK
It�s evil. This house is evil.
CHRIS
Oh god! Where the hell is Jane?
Right then, Jane�s scream is heard from the bedroom. They
run towards the bedroom.
INT.BEDROOM
They stumble into the bedroom only to find Jane looking at
the window...motionless.
Her back is towards them. Chris walks up to Jane and touches
her shoulder. She falls back. Blood is flowing through her
mouth. She�s dead.
Chris and Jack run out of the room. In confusion, they split
up and Jack enters the upper room and gets locked inside
again.
INT.UPPER ROOM
Jack looks around the room. Suddenly, an unseen force pushes
him onto the bed. Jack screams. Then, the unseen force drags
him onto the floor.
Jack stumbles to gain control of himself. Suddenly� we see
Jack get pulled under the bed by the unseen force with his
screams fading into the darkness.
INT.HALLWAY
Chris is in the hallway. As objects fall off the shelves,
Chris tries to run away from the entity. He lunges towards
the door which opens and Chris falls out.

EXT. ROAD
Chris stumbles out on the road. He has lost all sense. He
celebrates the moment of joy as he got out of the house.
Right then, a car hits him and he falls to the ground.
We see a series of smash cuts.
SMASH CUT.1
The cut focuses on two people in the car. All tensed.
SMASH CUT.2
The cut focuses on their car standing on the road in the
thunderstorm.
SMASH CUT.3
The cut focuses on Chris� body lying on the road.
INT.CAR
The two persons exchange nervous glances.
PERSON 1
Let�s hide the body in that house.
