Hide And Seek

Prologue: In the game of Hide & Seek
one person seeks as the others hide.
When the seeker finds someone they join in the search
until everyone is found.
While the seeker is searching the hiders
try to get to the safe which is usually a tree.
Once all the hiders are found a new game is began and a new seeker is chosen.
You may not start a new game until every hider is found
or until you give up in which case all the remaining hiders will come out.
Although what happens when Hide & Seek isn’t a game anymore?
What happens when an innocent childhood game suddenly becomes a frightening reality?
