Pride Always Comes Before The Fall Ryly A Davis
Pride always comes before the fall,
One moment- you have everything, the next, you lose it all,
It`s time for a resolution,
A new year`s constitution,
To start in me a revolution,
To stop all this constant confusion:
What is up, is suddenly down,
Once stood tall, now I`m six feet below the ground,
The rest of my 9.2,
Spent tryna`make it up to you...
Do I feel regret?
Do I fret?
Am I worried that I`ll soon forget,
The lesson I learned-
Let my heart burn;
Yet, it doesn`t crack,
I can`t seem to forget that!
My heart isn`t breaking no more,
No more do I have to try and mend it like before
This is why she doesn`t feel my love at night,
That is why I want to commit suicide-
`Cuz I keep messing up my life,
So, it`s better no to be alive:
I pray everyday that there be some way that I could end this easy, and no one would miss me.
I cry every night that my pillow could end my life,
`Cuz I can`t stand being alive,
Hating myself, `cuz I can never do right,
Yet, I have no pain inside!
