When My Atlantis

I missed my ferry to
Atlantis.
I saw it the other day.
It floated along right
past me.
So far out of my way.
I’ve been to Atlantis once
or twice.
But never could I stay.
Its always there, I can
see it from here
But, its so far out of
my way
A bird brought me a leaf today
Oh, I know where it has
been.
Been to my lost Atlantis
I want to go back, but
when?
I blew a wish into
the sky.
It was carried by the wind.
To my long lost Atlantis
deep in my heart
But the day I will return?
