Aurora. (For The Unknown Author...) Martin De Leon
her dim finger flickers in sleep. cold streams of light rushing into her mind/eyes
her dreams seek refuge in the stale darkness, loud stillness
beneath the soft wrinkles of her eyelids. bursts of blue screams swallow her nights sprinkling tattered fragments of fibers rusty greens, jagged flames of fears hum pre-sent madness
slowly tapping the warm flesh of her memory. noisy silhouettes cut through her dreams, naked laughter
pierce her twitching steps, aching visions stumble down
bleeding brazilian streets chasing mothers with starving blades of hope. the stinch of reason choking her white hands
crisp like screeching moonlight flooding the dull drone of
night.
she now weeps angry fists featherweight fits spilling the humility of hate beyond the palette of her glowing
black bedsheets.
