“Daddy’s Boy”
I know it seems like a long time
That we have been apart
But Son you’re always on my mind
And forever in my heart,
I love when you come to visit me
I hate when you have to leave
Remember I love you more than anything
And that’s the truth you should believe,
I pray every night that you are ok
And that soon we will be together
And with every night that turns to day
Reminds me that our time apart is not forever,
When I talk to you on the phone
It always brings tears to my eyes
Because all I want is to come home
So we no longer have to say good byes,
Son you’ve always meant the world to me
And never again will we be apart
Because it hurts to much, and you’re Daddy
Can no longer take this pain in his heart
Son all I want is to forever hold you
And never again let you go
Son please understand that I miss you
And love you more than I can ever show,
And If I hurt, Son I know you must
Corey I am sorry for this pain
But in our hearts we have to trust
That soon we will be together again,
And everyday I think about you
Son you bring a smile to my face
So remember always that I love you
Father and Son, with friendship to embrace,
And know that I will do anything for you
Son I promise that I will never hesitate
Simply because my love for you is true
And coming home to you will truly be great,
You and I Son back together again
Father and Son, just two best friends
Having fun that will seem to never end
So to you my Son, my heart I send,
With a smile as you and I rub noses
And here’s a hug and a kiss from me
And this life I know, we never chose this
But we’ll make the best of it you’ll see,
So I hope to see you soon my Son
And keep in mind my love is true
Because when this is all said and done
I’ll be coming home to forever be with you…
