Hey sis,
Why didn’t you ever tell me you felt like this?
Why’d u keep it inside?
We used to be sooo close.
So why, WHEN, did that change?
I finally found u don’t bottle it up,
And you don’t try to hide
No.
Instead you write.
Until all the pain is gone.
You write.
Until there’s nothing left to tell.
I know you don’t want to burden me.
With all your hopes dreams and fears
I know I'm the little one-
The one with all the tears.
But it’s all right to cry
All right to be upset.
I know you can’t always be strong,
I might be the baby,
But I'm not dumb.
And I know you can hurt,
Never think you have no one to lean on.
Because I’m always here.
And it pains me.
That you know that,
And still instead you write.
And instead of sharing it with me,
Some one you know love and trust,
You send I out to the rest of the world.
And then family never knows.
I never know…
Until by chance,
I came across it.
Your work…
And yet you still don’t know.
I guess I'm just like you…
Not brave enough to hand over our emotions
To some one we trust
But giving them to the rest of the world?
That’s easy.
What happened to that sisterly bond?
And the time we could tell each other anything…?
