Us R Bennett Okerstrom
Some of us are fools to think we will live forever.
Most of us fear to try to act out each and every sole endeavor.
Many of us lie awake until we cry ourselves asleep.
Few of us are bold enough to admit to others that we are weak.
None of us know the truth of the forces from the heavens.
Few of us observe the luck brought by horseshoes, clover and number sevens.
Some of us are only true to the sacred ones we love.
Most of us will never see the peace brought by a solemn dove.
Few of us will speak the varied words that lie within the mind.
All of us can search the world for the meaning of mankind.
None of us should see the death and decay of Mother Earth.
All of us take our home for granted and use it up for what it's worth.
Each of us should stop and think about our silly, foolish actions.
Each of us should take a look at our lives without distractions.
Each of us need to become all that we believe.
Each of us must do away with selfishness and petty greed.
